Everyday, Careline’s team of dedicated, highly-skilled care assistants head out to help the vulnerable at home.
Why Care?
Providing leading home care to the elderly, disabled and vulnerable, Careline Homecare has been delivering residential support for over a decade across the North as part of City and County Healthcare, the UK’s largest home care group.
Supported by experts in their fields, and a team of dedicated branch managers, we recruit compassionate, dedicated care assistants who have a want and drive to help those less fortunate.
Our care assistants play a key role in allowing our customers to remain living independently and happily in their own homes. As domiciliary care becomes more regarded as a feasible, affordable and comfortable option over traditional care homes, our staff endeavour to keep our customers living as much of their ‘normal’ life as possible despite age, disease or injury.
The Job Description
Providing vital care, assistance and companionship to customers who gladly need it, we regularly recruit for care assistants across the North of England as our business grows.
As a carer, you’ll help people live in their own homes as independently as they can, assisting with everything from day-to-day chores around the home like cleaning, light cooking and perhaps walking a pet, to more personal care like assisting them with getting dressed in the morning, using the toilet and bathing. A friend indeed to a friend in need, as we say.
Training
For those who are new to the care sector, Careline provides all required training which forms part of a 12 week programme.
During your training, you’ll cover all required aspects of care work, from the basics of care to everyday duties, health and hygiene, how best to communicate with customers and protecting their privacy. Wherever possibly, we’ll sit down with a customer to design a care plan that based on their specific needs, the plan which you, as their assistant, will ultimately deliver.
Care Assistant Benefits
- All induction and on-going training provided, no previous experience necessary
- Opportunities to work with older people and adults with learning disabilities and dementia
- Flexible hours, paid mileage*, referral bonus and a generous benefits package
